Dress Your Home For Spring
Refresh Your Windows
With the lighter mornings and evenings, celebrate this by making use of all the natural light. Refreshing your windows with new fabrics and textures can instantly give your home fresher look.
We love linens and transparent fabrics that allow the light to shine through.
If you are investing in shutters, we would recommend the half size to maximise the amount of light that can come through.
Pretty in Pastels
The pantone colour of the year is ‘Ultra Violet’ which is inevitably a rich purple. This works perfectly with buddleia plant flowering. Purple works beautifully with yellow, the most associated colour with ‘spring’ linking to sunshine and fresh lilacs in bloom.
We are seeing pastel tones throughout beautiful interior trends, which can be subtly added into your home.
With spring comes the new blooms of flowers and greenery. Implementing florals in your home can be as bold as you like, from subtle hints to blooming beautiful murals.
We would suggest going for subtle hints of mauve and grey. Purple is the Pantone colour of the year, however by choosing a muted version it will fit perfectly with most colour schemes.
Bring The Outside Inside
Whatever the style of your interior from ‘super-yatch luxe’ to country cottage, whatever your interior style, adding greenery to your home always give it a fresher appearance and is the perfect time to bring in new plants at this time of year. By adding prints of florals, to pretty bouquets, it can freshen up your room, plus the scent of a fresh flower display is always welcoming to return home to.
